Hello, I live in a very cold climate and while my tropical plants thrive in the summer, during the winter months they need to be brought inside. During this time I use a grow light on and off and have been considering getting a heat lamp to add to the temperature. I am wondering if anyone else has used a grow light, heat lamp or other technique to ensure the health of tropical plants indoors for the winter.
Thanks.
Thanks.

i do not use anything special. This year, specifically or my brazilian raintree, I have created a tiny greenhouse, to keep humidity up. But my ficus, bougainville are just in the windowsill.

I had problems last year with spider mites and other bugs. Inside they don't wind or orhair circulate. Low humidity can be a problem, too.
