Can a wild olive be kept as indoor bonsai?
The info I found is that it may just work... let me know if anybody has any experience with that.
I would love to know before I commit to the tree
thank you

I find olives have a hard time with the indoors. They really need a dormant time. So indoors.. in a cold room. I keep mine outside, except for deep frost periods.

Hi, I have two Olives and they are happy outside all year round. I live in Milan, northern Italy, where we have some temps below 0°C in Dec/Jan, so I wrap pot and plant with a non-woven-fabric cover to keep them from freezing (though letting sunlight in).
