You Mr Fancy, there is a whole science to creating these nebari's. It is not just age. The way I see it, it is a special form of self-grafting. There is one nursery in Japan specialized in this, and the owner has once shown the process. Yet, no-one seems to really rep[licate the resutls. I think one core element in the process is not explained.
