Thanx.
Water that stays on top evaporates very quickly as it is on full sun, all the excess water just drips down the wall, the lower one has tiles on top placed at an angle to help water flow off it and is few cm over the edge so the water doesn?t drip on the wall itself. It is concrete support wall for the house and the finish is a thing called marmolit here, skirting plaster, I managed to put it on myself few years ago.

Very nice. I see the three-headed dragon is alive and kicking too
Did you at least like my first attempt at a penjing a bit, oh penjing master?

Thanx lads.
AUK, I am not planning on that but neighbours and other people passing by are actually stopping in their tracks when they see me around the trees and compliment the display and penjings and ask questions so ... maybe it is not a bad idea
I am planning some 12 to 15 more stands like that maybe next year by the neighbour?s wall and benches in front of the house and in back gardens.
We had to cut down one old chestnut tree at the back of the garden and I got very cool timber from it, I am looking forward to that.
