Posted 4 years 10 months ago #56585TO me it looks like a wisteria. Wisteria is not a tropical plant, and needs a period of dormancy during which the plant drops its leaves and waits for spring. Keeping this indoors is not a great idea, which you can also see on the weak leaves it has.
As spring is near, I would keep it where it is for now. In spring, move it outside. Make sure it gets plenty of light (Note: Being indoors makes it very light sensitive, so slowly move it into a more sunny spot; Start of with 2 weeks in the shade outside). Then just let it grow for the season. Once leaves drop in fall, look at pruning etc.

For wisteria, in summer, loads of water is needed. Putting it in a dish with water is normally a good idea as long as the plant is able to drain the dish every 24 hours..

What make it qualify as a bonsai?
