Hello all;
I am growing a NZ Tea Tree to eventually become a bonsai.
Well, I know it is famous for being extremely fussy, it dies on you in a matter of hours, it hates having its roots touched, etc, etc.
But it is soo beautiful!
So even knowing the success rate can be as low as 5%, I'll try. The weather here is not bad for the Tea Tree (it's called "Erika Japonica" here in Brazil) and I like challenges. But..
If anyone has any experience with Leptospermum and can share some tips, I'll be more than happy.
Here's a picture of one of the minuscule flowers in my tree right now:
Thanks for your help!

UPDATE
How to kill a Manuka in 12 hours:
As stated by ALL bonsaists trying to grow Leptospermum as bonsai, 6 hours of dryness is all they need to die.
No wilting.
No chance.
Thinking the soil was pretty wet two days ago, I didn't water it.
Today, dead.
