Hey guys first post to the forum =]

I can't find anything in the about these trees. I have found a few great videos from about pruning and misting as not to spoil the foliage.

I on the other hand am looking for advise on selecting new growth for branch development in the future?

I have 3 of these I purchased and they are about 28cm from soil level each. I have potted them up in my soil mix I use here in the UK.

I have a twin trunk and a single trunk informal/formal upright planned for them :woohoo:

Any advise on these would be amazing.

Welcome to the forum. Some pictures would help. (And for posting pics.. Keep them smaller than 1000px on the longest side, and compressed to 200Kb, and you should be fine)

I hope these come up I have re-sized them to the smallest scale.

They are only young but i want then to develop well at a young age so they look the best in years to come.

I have a fondness for this variety of tree and there are some amazing bonsai out there =]

How long have you had them potted up? They seem a little unhappy..

Iv'e had them potted around 3 months i think. They have been outside all winter too as i don't have room.

The 2 smaller ones have a few browned leaves, I know they are supposed to go that pale white over winter that's one of their beautiful qualities as a bonsai. And then bright green in summer.

I have dropped a little Naruko on them yesterday as all my plants are starting to grow now.

I am not entierly sure on how to deal with trees as I have only kept fruit bushes up until now :)
