I live in the temperate, sometimes foggy part of San Francisco and?inherited these two months ago where were in a somewhat more extreme climate. They have never had any care or repotting since purchase many years ago. I fertilized them when I brought?them home?and will do so again soon. Should I wait and see if?the ficus gets healthier before pruning it? I will repot both next Spring. I plan to?start pruning and wiring?the gingko now.?

I do not see any emediate need of pruning nor wiring the ginkos. Just focus on care and health.
