Cheers. flowers are nice. rest not so much. Hopefully I will figure out what to do with that long straight branch - whether to grow it from scratch or do some kind of abuse to it with high risk of cracking it or lower it even more, or .... we?ll see

I have decided to like you even less then before. I have a big wisteria in my garden, for quite a few years already, and it refuses to bloom.
And you... I bet you can even make a broom stick flower.

:) I guess it has nothing to do with me at all.
It is from over 20 years old plant from my father?s front garden.
It has abundance of flowers every year.
You just might have to wait for a little while longer and you will get your reward :)

Kri?tof wrote: I am happy to report that wisteria survived my first attempts at carving, some more of it have been done, rotting wood in touch with soil has been treated with fungicide coat that soaked into the wood and then it was painted with varnish called "Ship varnish" - our substitude for wood hardener. I was worried how it might affect the plant, but luckilly it did no harm and the deadwood is now hard as a rock.
Here is a picture of my daughter waiting for the full bloom that is upon us. I will make a proper photo session when the flowers fully open.

We enjoyed the flowers and now we have to strive for nicer tomorrows.
