Haha i think its a combination of all of the ingredients in beer, obviously the alcohol that is created in the process wont help moss grow but i think its generally all the ingredients because they are all basically plants before they get processed. That would make an interesting research topic

Yes, it would be interesting to research...go for it and let us know what you find? Perhaps a lite beer would with a lower alcohol content would be healthier for the tree. You certainly wouldn't want all your 名媛直播 to become inebriated and fall off of their stands.

To grow moss, you can just grab a bit of moss (Say: From thr roof of your garden shed), let it dry out, and crumble it over te area you want moss to grow on. Keep most and soon you shoul dhave a nice sprinkling of mos on there.

Question...Is there any risk to using moss collected from the wild? The reason I ask is because I have read that if one uses collected soils from the wild it should be "purified" by baking it in an oven to remove any "undesirable" organisms. Although it would seem baking it would also kill any good organisms.

Any thoughts on this?

I just pick moss from the ground nearby my house and let it dry and then put it around the tree No worries, your trees will be alright ;)

If you use it on plants that are outside, there is ablosutely no problem using stuff from outside (Anything in the soil outside will also be in your pots after some weeks/months). in case of in-house-grown plants I would be carefull, but not overly so. Life is strong.

I agree with leatherback.

But moss won't grow very good inside, it's too warm and dry inside and the moss becomes brown, when you place the tree outside again, the brown moss become green again. ;)
