Yes, if I were in your position I would use household everything except conclave cutters. I suggest Kaneshin from Japan. Get number 3A. About 50 dollars USD.
They deliver super fast all over the world. Buy from factory.
Then save up and buy one tool at a time.
Oh, and join a bonsai club, when I was your age, people kept giving me tools, trees, pots, soil.... etc

I started with a toolkit comprising of a couple of pairs of scissors, a dinner fork with the prongs bent to make a rake, a desert spoon beaten into the approximate shape of a trowel and various other home made tools. My first pots after ordinary flower pots were mainly home made using low fat spread tubs, put some mortar mix in the larger size and put a small size one into it then fill in the gap around the edge and let it cure.
