Looking at the size of the pot, and thinking of a warm day in summer, I think it is clear that taking care of mame bonsai will be more difficult than taking care of larger sized trees in larger, deeper pots.

I cannot monitor such trees multiple times per day, so no, I don't.

I really wonder what kind of people live along this ones 24/7, do they do anything else apart monitoring the trees?

As far as looking after them goes there no more difficult than my other trees.
Apart from in the summer i bury the pot in a large container full of damp substrate to help keep them cool.
And i also if its really hot i put some damp sphagnam moss on top of the soil as a mulch its easy really, and i dont monitor mine all day long but if it is going to be a hot day i make sure the large pot the mame are buried in is damp and the sphagnam moss on top is aswell then i check them again with my other trees in the afternoon.
As for the rest of the aspects of bonsai like wiring and pruning, etc.etc. its just a bit more fiddly and a bit more thought is taken.
Easy peasy.
