Juniper beginnings

This particular Juniper was bought from a 名媛直播 nursery as bonsai stock.
I looked at the tree for a while after bringing it home and decided it would need some weeks in my yard to aclimatise and bring the health up some.
I finally decided the time was right and began working towards my design. It was going to be a Tree with some difference to what I normally would style as , that's why I decided to go this direction.
The Juniper had some mass to it
A sorta decent trunk tucked up in there somewhere.
After evaluating the different aspects of the tree I continued to remove branches and foliage to follow my design.
Hard to see but the lower trunk has some appeal to it with beginnings of good Nebari.
This is my projected appearance of this Juniper.
Since taking these pics the tree has been recovering well, I have begun some Shari work and removed the lowest part of the foliage mass. The tie downs are removed and the trunk now holds it's new shape.
I'll post a new recent pic showing the work a little later tonight or so.
Any comments , fire away, cheers,

As Auk has said, you have given this forum exactly what it needs, posts of brilliant material. In a few years (maybe in one!), I am sure that it will be an amazing tree. In the direction it is going in, it will definitely be an awesome tree, in a short amount of time.

Hey thanks guy's, opinions are always great input Orlando and no matter the bonsai age of a grower , comments and opinions should inspire people to think about the tree with the outlook of improving it. It may end up a nice tree or it may not, we'll see what the future brings.

Looks like it found a new pot to roost in, too! We can finally see the nebari as well. I think it's a strong design, and took good vision to see that through the material. Great to see, Craig!
