I want to show you one of my first trees. I bought it 23 years ago as a mallsai in a gardencentre. I hope you like it.

I like it. Thanks for showing it. So, only 23 years to go for my mallsai to look good! (,Got it for free at a dhow at the Sakura festival in Amsterdam)

It is now in a training pot and it has put out pretty long new shoots low on the trunk (i pruned away the higher shoots). That sharp bend is awful. I see no othernoption then cutting it off, really.

Because of the cold in the past period the tree is almost bold. Now you have a good sight of the ramification.
