looking for a bit of help here, was given this bonsai as a present, no label to say what kind of tree is was, so kind would like to know so that I can read up about the correct care I should give it.

@eangola There can be much variation in leaf shape within the 400-ish different cultivars of buxus sempervirens so it is understandable to be confused.

Most boxwood varieties are outdoor evergreens. I know, though, that some boxwood can be kept indoors.

The tree would probably prefer being outside, though.
