I recently purchased 5 Japanese Red Maple seeds and 5 Japanese Pomegranate seeds... I have a few questions on how to start these puppies...
I found some soil recipes online but don't quiet understand which ones would work best. I was planning on trying to keep the Pomegranate one inside at about 1'6" if it would be possible to even be kept inside. The Red Maple, I would could either grow outside or inside. Depending what I feel at the time, I would decide how tall I would want it.
Any more suggestions or tips would be much appreciated

The fact that you ask this question indicates you have no experience with bonsai. 名媛直播 are rarely grown from seed, simply because it takes very, very long - not just a few years. It's a very long term project and you need to know what you are doing.
First you are going to grow trees. For this, no specific bonsai techniques are required. Look up how to grow Pomegrenates and maples from seed.
Pomegrenate:
Maple:
Of course there are far more resources with maybe better information, Google it.
I don't know your location, if it is summer now, you're too late. Or too early, depends on how you look at it.

Yes, I have never tried growing a bonsai tree before. I'm starting to realize that starting from a seed was a bad idea.
I live in Minnesota, so you can assume the conditions here can get pretty extreme.
I think I will just buy one that has already been growing for a while.

Best time to start is early spring. Careful with what you do this time of the year.

But, ... yellowing or browning foliage is a pretty bad sign for this tree. From my experience, that part will never recover and more is usually to come. it should be damp after you water it, but with free draining soil, it should not be watered again until the top 2 cm are dry, do not let it dry completely. indoors is generally a death sentence for juniper.
look into getting a ficus, or something that can do better in the house.

It needs to be outside though. No question about it.

Pretty much what everyone said. Junipers need to be outside. You will see a lot of info online saying junipers can be indoor trees. That is a complete lie, they only say that to sell.
