Glad to know they survived! That's always a nice feeling to see something come back when you thought it was gone. I had a similar experience when I let a friend take care of my plants while I was away for a month. My Japanese Maple was flush with healthy red leaves when I left...when I returned, they were all dried up and brown. I removed them, put it in the shade for about 3 weeks and watered it. Eventually, it came back and sprouted new leaves. I was very satisfied!!
