Hi all! New here, and to bonsai in general
I started binging everything bonsai because I fell in love with a plumeria tree, but don't have enough space to grow a full sized one.
Has anyone succeeded making a flowering bonsai? How do I start? My plan is to buy a small plumeria (about a meter tall) and keep it that size in a pretty pot, the spot is very sunny all day long, and I live in a warm climate that fits the tree under normal growing conditions.
Any input will be very appreciated

Can you make a flowering bonsai? Yeah, examples plenty. But not of plumeria.
This species has a very coarse growth habit which would really prohibit it turning into a believable bonsai.
But.. If you are just after the species.. Just keep one in a pot and trim every once in a while. I see no reason for wanting to create a bonsai out of it in your case.
