Can anybody identify what spices my bonsai is please

Welcome to the forum.
It's not a spice.
It's also not a bonsai (yet).
Shouldn't be sitting in the kitchen with the dishes, should be outdoors.
Haven't you asked the vendor about the species when you bought it? Didn't you researched the best trees for your area before buying it?

I suspect auto correct changed whatever he typed to spice, but should have made it species.

No it was given to me as a present . I moved it to take a better picture it usually lives on the window sill where it gets plenty of sun shine . i have had for nearly two years now and I tought it needs a littke trim . i. no nothing about bonsai and have only started to do the research now . how can i tell what species it is , is me trying to get started on the right path.

It looks like a privet. Some of them are sold and trained indoors... if you hadn't had the tree outside during summer and fall, I wouldn't put it outside.

This forum has a few people who seem very unkind and rude when someone new wants some information. Not very helpful. Nobody needs lessons in English, I think we can understand what they are saying. A bonsai can be many things, mainly a miniaturized tree in a pot and something that pleases you.
The photos posted definitely looks like a bonsai to me with a beautiful trunk and in need of some pruning and shaping. I agree it is a privet. I picked up one at a garden store and have identified it as a privet as well. But its leaf growth is not like yours, alternate leaves but in pairs. You can learn how to prune, defoliate,shape and grow it. Enjoy your bonsai!

A plant in a pot is not a bonsai.
