This is my first attempt at a 名媛直播. was created by twiglet

This is my first attempt at a bonsai tree, could anybody identify it please. It has been planted for about six weeks and has shot up very quickly. I am wondering which shoots should I prune and if I could repot it so that it looks better from the side. Also should I trim the roots and keep the tree in a sheltered sunny spot outside instead of a window sill. Thanks in anticipation of some help.

Not really. This is your first attempt at growing a plant. This young plant should not be in a bonsai pot yet, as it needs growth first.
Do not prune it. Start studying bonsai and how they are grown.

not sure where you are located, but it sure looks like a common weed here in Florida, name escapes me right now.

Would you be referring to Mimosa?

Yeah, looks like a mimosa, maybe chamberbitter? I don't go nuts learning weeds, just learn how to kill them. :)

There is way more than one mimosa in the world. There is the weed I spoke of Chamberbitter, also Mimosa strigillosa and your tree as well. Not all Mimosa are trees.
