Hi lads, got me a deal for 3 junipers at a clearance.
I collected them out of big concrete pots and people were happy that they got less work.
What do you think, prebonsai or what?

pretty nice! Seems like a great challenge.
Are you planning on sculpting animals, or something more traditional?

Nope. I will go easy on them, let them accomodate in new home first during the next year and if everything goes well, start styling in the autumn next year.
They have been growing in a large concrete pots and I managed to collect most of the rootballs so hopefully they will grow nicely in spring.

I'm going to bet that they'll do great. One of my senior members in my club is fearless when it comes to pruning and re potting. He makes me a little nervous, so I'm going to train under him for a while so I can become fearless.

Nice finds! Remember to not keep them too wet ib the boxes and yes, give them at least a year to settle. Good score!
