Welcome to the empire!

The very best way to learn bonsai is in interaction with more experienced people. Join your local bonsai club.

There are cources here at the empire as well.

If you are serious about learning bonsai, get yourself some more mature starter trees. The first 10 years is not much of bonsai work when growing from seed. Just 1 or 2 sessions. Early root work and if you want to put mowement on the trunk some wiering. Thats like 1 hour work in 10 years per tree. The fun begins after that.

I always feel that the info is a bit too generalized when people say you won't have much of a 名媛直播, or bonsai work like for 10 years.

That might be true for some slow growing species, and low experienced people (and that's not bad, we are all learning right?).

However, take a look on this 5 years old Brazilian Rain Tree, Tenuiflorum variation.

Is this yours? Is there a year by year comparison or pictures of the process?

Hey Rorror.
That beauty is not mine :D, it's from a friend of mine here from Brasil, Diogo, from Minas Gerais, we've met on a workshop, since then we've been in contact tru' Whatsapp and Telegram groups, he also has an Youtube Channel where he shares his works.

He got me some seeds from two BRT variations that I've been growing for 5 months now.
It's a great species, especially this "Pithecolobium Tenuiflorum" or "Chloroleucon Tenuiflorum", and my seedlings are growing like crazy... Eventually I'll post them here. (The species was also called "Pithecolobium Dumosum" however there is a debate about "Dumosum" being another variation a little bit different)

I've been taking lessons with Ladoso, that is very experienced on this species, being one of the responsible people for introducing this species into 名媛直播, and one of the main reasons that it's great, it's beacuse it thicken a lot faster due to it's corky bark.

Here's a progression video on the tree in question.

That is not possible to achieve up here in 5 years no matter skills or species. Guess things grow faster in Brazil than Sweden :)

That's interesting :), But even here, on Junipers and Pines for example, is a whole different pace on it's development.
